Atijosan Ayobami Basirat

Dr. Atijosan Ayobami Basirat holds a Doctoral degree in Biochemistry, Obafemi Awolowo university, Ile-Ife. She has various certificates in gender studies. She is a Research Fellow I at the Centre for Gender and Social Policy Studies, Obafemi Awolowo University, where she teaches and researches on diverse issues in gender and social policy. Her research focus is on women’s health, women entrepreneurship/ empowerment, gender and health specifically on the intersection of health and socio-cultural issues on the well-being of male and female. She is a gender expert with various publications in both local and international reputable journals in the field of Gender Studies.
