Introducing Bespoke Certificate Courses
The Centre for Gender and Social Policy Studies (CGSPS), Obafemi Awolowo University, invites applications for its one-week Bespoke Certificate Courses in Gender and Development.
CGSPS is a recognised Centre of Excellence for training and interdisciplinary research in gender and development studies.
The programme offers intensive, practical training through gender studies and sector-specific modules. It provides a strong foundation for understanding gender relations, women’s and men’s status, the intersection of gender with broader social justice issues, and their implications for development, well-being, and quality of life. Participants will also gain practical skills for mainstreaming gender into policy, practice, research, and institutional processes.
This one-week full-time programme is designed for professionals across key sectors, including local government, health, education, development practice, social work, justice administration, politics, human resources, academia, and university administration.
