Unmasking The Truth: Realities And Challenges Of GBV on Nigeria Campus.

By using art as a tool during the 16 days of activism against gender-based violence, we engaged students in meaningful dialogue, challenged harmful norms, and inspired collective actions.
We were able to unmask the truth about GBV by learning that education is not confined to classrooms. It is also found in the emotional resonance of a painting, photograph, and sculpture.
Through art, we can confront the shadows of violence and illuminate the path towards a safe and more equitable future. The exhibition also gave students an opportunity to express their thoughts and experiences through art. Many of the works showed courage, pain, and hope, reminding us that gender-based violence affects real people and real lives.
It also encouraged conversations about respect, equality, and how we can all play a part in ending violence on campus. By sharing ideas and creativity, students learned that change begins with awareness and action.
