Dr. Atijosan A. B.

Dr. Atijosan Ayobami Basirat is a Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Gender and Social Policy Studies, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. She has a PhD in Biochemistry and specialized training in Gender and Development; Gender, Sexual, and Reproductive Health. She has over a decade of experience in gender-focused research. Dr. Atijosan’s work spans gender-based violence, maternal health, and social policy development. She is a grant-winning researcher, whose work has contributed extensively to academic publications and policy reports, influencing gender integration in health projects across Nigeria. Her research continues to shape strategies for gender equity and health policy.
