Dr. Olajide O.C.

Oluwatoyin Christiana Olajide holds a PhD in Gender Studies from the University of Ibadan,  an LLM in International Human Rights Law from the University of Essex, and a BSc. in International Relations from Covenant University. She has built a global career in international development and research through her affiliation  with development organizations in the UK, Senegal and Nigeria. She is a CODESRIA fellow and an Erasmus Scholar.

Oluwatoyin’s research interests are centered around amplifying the voices of women. She explores African Feminisms, Women’s Rights, Women’s Agency and Feminist International Relations. She is a board member of Parler D’ Elles and Together for Needs Initiative.
