The Centre for Gender and Social Policy Studies, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife is a centre of excellence for the interdisciplinary study of gender and development issues. It was established in 1996 by the university to consolidate and expand its interest in National Development particularly as these relate to women and children and sustainable human development.
